    Question

This question is based on the five, three-digit numbers given below.
    (Left) 265 876 219 457 356 (Right)
    (Example- 697 – First digit = 6, second digit = 9 and third digit = 7)
NOTE - All operations to be done from left to right.
What will be the resultant if the second digit of the second highest number is multipliedwith the third digit of the lowest number?

    A.

    47

    B.

    43

    C.

    45

    D.

    49

    Correct option is C

    Given: (Left) 265 876 219 457 356 (Right)
Arrange the numbers in ascending order
    219 < 265 < 356 < 457 < 876
    Lowest number = 219
    Second highest = 457
Second digit of second highest (457) = 5
    Third digit of lowest (219) = 9
    5 × 9 = 45
45 will be the resultant if the second digit of the second highest number is multiplied with the third digit of the lowest number.
    Thus, correct option is (c).
