Question

There are four prime numbers taken in ascending order. The product of the first three prime number is 1771 and the sum of the last two prime numbers is 82. What is the product of the last two prime numbers?

A.

1387

B.

1127

C.

1537

D.

1357

Correct option is D

Given:

Product of first three primes = 1771

Sum of last two primes = 82

Solution:
Prime factorization of 1771 = 7 ×\times 11×\times23

Now let the fourth prime number be x

23 + x = 82

x = 82 - 23 = 59
Primes: 7, 11, 23, 59

Then,
Product of last two primes: 23×\times59 = 1357
