Let the number be 10x + y.
According to the question
x + y = 15 ----(i)
x - y = 3----(ii)
Add equation (i) and equation (ii)
2x= 18
=>x=9
From equation (i)
=>y = 15-9
=> y = 6
Required number is 96.
