Correct option is A

Given:

Sum of 5 consecutive integers = 235

Formula Used:

A prime number has no factors other than 2 or itself

Solution:

Let the consecutive number be x, x+1,x+2,x+3x and x+4

Sum of the numbers is: x + x + 1 + x + 2 + x + 3 + x + 4 = 5x+ 10

5x +10 = 235

x = 45

Clearly, only 47 is the prime number
