Given:

x27x+12=0x^2 - 7x+12= 0

Solution:

x27x+12=0x^2 - 7x+12= 0

x2-3x -4x +12 = 0  (-3 ×\times -4= 12 , -3-4 =-7)

x( x-3) -4( x-3) = 0

(x-3) (x-4) =0

Roots are-

x-3=0

x=  3

& x-4 =0

x= 4

Option (a) is right.
