The product of two positive numbers is 0.60. If one number is $$\frac 1{15}$$​ th of the other, then what are the two numbers?

Product of two numbers = 0.60

One number is $$\frac{1}{15}​$$​th of the other.

let the other number be x.

then,

the product of the two numbers:

​$$x \times \frac{x}{15} = 0.60 \\ \ \\\rArr\frac{x^2}{15} = 0.60 \\ \ \\\rArr x^2 = 0.60 \times 15 =9 \\x = \sqrt{9} ​=3$$​​

Now,

Second number = $$\frac{x}{15} = \frac{3}{15} = 0.2$$ 

Thus, the number be  3 , 0.2 .
