C.

D.

Correct option is A

Given:

Marks obtained and maximum marks in 4 subjects for Raj and Ramesh.

Formula Used:

Percentage = (Total MarksTotal Max Marks)×100\left( \frac{\text{Total Marks}}{\text{Total Max Marks}} \right) \times 100

Solution:

Raj:
Total marks = 18 + 17 + 16 + 15 = 66
Total max marks = 20 × 4= 80
Percentage =6680×100=82.5% \frac{66}{80} \times 100 = 82.5\%

Ramesh:
Total marks = 85 + 70 + 60 + 75 = 290
Total max marks = 100 × 4 = 400
Percentage =290400×100=72.5% \frac{290}{400} \times 100 = 72.5\%

Difference = 82.5% − 72.5% = 10%
