Given:
Circumference of the base of the cylinder = 136.4 cm
Height of the cylinder = 50 cm
π=227\pi = \frac{22}{7}
Formula Used:
The volume of a cylinder is given by:
V=πr2hV= \pi r^2 h
Where:
r is the radius of the base.
h is the height of the cylinder.
The circumference of the base is given by:
Circumference = 2πr

r=Circumference2πr = \frac{\text{Circumference}}{2\pi}
Solution: 

Applying the formula for radius;

r=Circumference2πr = \frac{\text{Circumference}}{2\pi}

r=136.4×744r= \frac{136.4 \times 7}{44}

r =954.844=21.7 cm \frac{954.8}{44} = 21.7 \text{ cm} 

Now, Volume of the cylinder;

V = 227×(21.7)2×50\frac{22}{7} \times (21.7)^2 \times 50

=227×470.89×50 \frac{22}{7} \times 470.89 \times 50

=22×470.89×507 \frac{22 \times 470.89 \times 50}{7}

= 73997 cm3
