Solution:

Total number of Students appearing for the interview in Bihar for all the years = (410+500+450+320+500) = 2180

Average of students appearing for the interview in Bihar = $$\frac{Sum\ of\ all\ value}{Number\ of\ all\ value}$$ = $$\frac{2180}{5}= 436$$ 

​Total number of Students appearing for the interview in UP for all the years = (300+400+450+500+430)= 2080

Average of students appearing for the interview in UP = $$\frac{2080}{5}= 416$$ 

Total number of Students appearing for the interview in MP for all the years = (250+280+240+400+540) = 1710

Average of students appearing for the interview in MP = $$\frac{1710}{5}= 342$$ 

Total number of Students appearing for the interview in Punjab for all the years= (280+320+260+400+350) = 1610

Average of students appearing for the interview in Punjab = $$\frac{1610}{5}=322$$​

​Total number of Students appearing for the interview in Kerala for all the years = (440+400+350+380+420) = 1950

Average of students appearing for the interview in Kerala = $$\frac{1950}{5}= 390$$ 

So, Bihar is only State whose average of students appearing for the interview for all the years, is higher than that of UP.
