Solution:

Numbers = 2 ,4 ,6,8,….…………….26

In descending order= 26 , 24 ,22,20,……………….4,2

The number which will at the 9th place from the bottom

9thterm= a+ (n-1 )d

= 2+ (9-1)×2

= 2+16

= 18
