    Question

If ‘+’ means ‘multiplication’, ‘-’ means ‘division’, ‘×’ means ‘subtraction’ and ‘÷’ means ‘addition’, then what is the value of the following expression?
    26 + 342 – 19 × 73 ÷ 14

    A.

    481

    B.

    409

    C.

    524

    D.

    510

    Correct option is B

    Given,
    26 + 342 – 19 × 73 ÷ 14
After changing the sings as per the question and apply the BODMAS rule
    26 × 342 ÷ 19 - 73 + 14
    = 26 × 18 - 73 + 14
    = 468 - 73 + 14
    = 482 – 73
    = 409
Therefore, the correct answer is (b).
