Given:
(Left) 32578641 (Right)
According to the question 2 is added in each odd digit and 2 is subtract to the each even digit:
Odd digit: 3+2 =5, 5+2=7, 7+2=9, 1+2= 3
Even digit : 2-2=0, 8-2=6, 6-2=4, 4-2=2
The new formation of number  is : 50796423
Third digit from the left end isthird digit from the right end is 4
So the difference = 7-4 = 3
Thus the correct option is (C).
