    Bagor (Rajasthan) on the left bank of river Kothari is the largest Mesolithic site in India and has three cultural phases.Here Mesolithic five human skeletons which were buried in a planned manner. The earliest evidence of domestication of animals and fire found here. The site reportedly has the earliest record of domesticated horses in India.

    Bairat:- The present-day site of Bairat corresponds to the ancient city of Virāṭanagara, which was the capital of the Matsya kingdom, which was one of the solasa (sixteen) Mahajanapadas (great kingdoms) according to the 6th BCE Buddhist text Anguttara Nikaya. It's a part of the Mauryan Empire. The ruins of the Bijak-ki-pahadi (Bairat Temple), a Buddhist Chaitya (chapel) from the 3rd century BCE located in Bairat, are the oldest free-standing Buddhist structures in India. The town is also home to ruins of a Buddhist monastery, a wood and timber sh rine, and two rock-cut edicts (Bairat Edict and Bhabru Edict) from Emperor Ashoka.

    Ahar:- Located on the north bank of the Ahar River in the present-day city of Udaipur, Rajasthan, in India. Ahar was the site of the Chalcolithic Ahar culture.

    Kalibangan:- an ancient site of the Indus Valley Civilization, located on the banks of the Ghaggar River in the Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan.Kalibangan is known for its remarkable fire altars and the “world’s earliest attested ploughed field.”.
