Given:  

Profit = 777.7 

Solution:

Let the cost price of the article = 100 unit 

then the profit 10% of 100 unit = 10 unit 

According to the question 

10 unit = 777.7 

1 unit = 77.77 

Cost price of the article 100 unit = 100×77.77=7777100\times77.77 = 7777​​
