Question

By interchanging the given two signs which of the following equation will be correct?
× and ÷

A.

9 × 3 – 4 ÷ 2 + 5 = 4

B.

11 ÷ 12 × 6 + 8-10 = 20

C.

5 + 6 × 2 – 4 ÷ 1 = 10

D.

70 ÷ 3 × 7 + 50 – 10 = 80

Correct option is B

From the given options-
(a) 9 × 3 – 4 ÷ 2 + 5 = 4 after interchanging the sing × and ÷ we get following equation-
9 ÷ 3 – 4 × 2 + 5 = 4
3 – 4 × 2 + 5 = 4
3 – 8 + 5 = 4
8 – 8 = 4
0 ≠ 4
(b) 11 ÷ 12 × 6 + 8-10 = 20 after interchanging the sing × and ÷ we get following equation-
11× 12 ÷ 6 + 8-10 = 20
11× 2 + 8 - 10 = 20
22 + 8 - 10 = 20
30 - 10 = 20
20 = 20
Thus, the correct answer is (b).
