    Introduced in the 2004 Union Budget, effective October 2004.
  • Banking Cash Transaction Tax (BCTT) – 2005
    Introduced in 2005-06 (withdrawn in 2009).
  • Angel Tax – 2012
    Introduced by Section 56(2)(viib) of Income Tax Act to tax premium on shares issued by closely held companies.
  • Commodities Transaction Tax (CTT) – 2013
    Introduced in 2013 on non-agricultural commodity futures.
