Anita and Vineeta divide an amount of Rs.1,950 between themselves in the ratio 6 : 7. If an amount of Rs.100 is added to each of their shares, what will be the new ratio of their shares?

Given: 

Share ratio between Anita and Vineeta = 6 : 7 

Total amount = Rs. 1950 

To find: New ratio after adding 100 to their share

​$$\text{Individual's Share} = \frac{\text{Individual's Ratio}}{\text{Total Ratio}} \times \text{Total Profit}$$ 

Solution: 

Share of Anita = $$\frac{6}{13}\times 1950 = 900$$ 

Share of Vineeta = $$\frac{7}{13}\times 1950 = 1050$$ 

Now adding 100 to each 

Anita's share = 900 + 100 = 1000 

Vineeta's share = 1050 + 100 = 1150 

New share = 1000 : 1150 

                  = 20 : 23
