Solution:
C’s salary = 100
A’s salary
= 100 × (1 + 40100\frac{40}{100}​)
= 100 × 140100\frac{140}{100}
= 140
B’s salary
= 100 × (1 + 70100\frac{70}{100}​)
= 100 × 170100\frac{170}{100}
= 170
Required ratio (B : A)
= 170 : 140
= 17 : 14
