    Question

A question is followed by two statements numbered (I) and (II). You have to decide whether the data provided in the statements are sufficient/necessary to answer the question. Read both the statements and decide the appropriate answer.
Question: In which direction is Vineet finally facing?
    (I) Initially Vineet was facing northeast, then he turned 135 degrees clockwise, then he turned 45 degrees anticlockwise. Then he turned 90 degrees anticlockwise for his final facing of a direction.
(II) Initially Vineet was facing north, then he turned 90 degrees followed by a 135degrees turn. He, then turned 45 degrees for his final facing.

    A.

Data in Statement II alone is sufficient to answer the question while data in statement I is not

    B.

Data in statements I and II together are NOT sufficient to answer the question

    C.

Data in Statement I alone is sufficient to answer the question while data in statement Il is not

    D.

Data in statements I and II together are necessary to answer the question.

    Correct option is C

    Given:
    (I) Initially Vineet was facing northeast, then he turned 135 degrees clockwise, then he turned 45 degrees anticlockwise. Then he turned 90 degrees anticlockwise for his final facing of a direction.
(II) Initially Vineet was facing north, then he turned 90 degrees followed by a 135degrees turn. He, then turned 45 degrees for his final facing.
From the given information Direction will be:
Note: Black colour direction Clock wise and Red colour Anti-clock wise rotate.
    So, Vineet facing Southwest.
Therefore, using Statement I alone, we know Vineet is facing Southwest at the end.
(II) Initially Vineet was facing north, then he turned 90 degrees followed by a 135degrees turn. He, then turned 45 degrees for his final facing.
Directions (clockwise/anticlockwise) not specified. So, not Sufficient for answer the question.
Thus, the correct option is: (c) Data in Statement I alone is sufficient to answer the question while data in statement Il is not
