    Question

    A liquid is to be kept in the range of 35°C to 40°C. The range in Fahrenheit scale is (Given: 180°C = 100°F - 32)

    A.

    90°F - 100°F

    B.

    95°F - 104°F

    C.

    97°F - 110°F

    D.

    100°F - 110°F

    Correct option is B

    Given:

    Temperature range in Centigrade = 3535^\circ C to 4040^\circ C

    Given relation:

    C100=F32180\frac{C}{100} = \frac{F - 32}{180}

    Formula Used:

    From the given relation:

    F = 95C+32 \frac{9}{5}C + 32

    Solution:

    For (3535^\circ C):

    F = 95×\frac{9}{5} \times 35 + 32 = 63 + 32 = 9595^\circ F

    For (4040^\circ C):

    F = 95×40+32=72+32=104\frac{9}{5} \times 40 + 32 = 72 + 32 = 104^\circ F

    So, range = 95°F - 104°F
