Concept Used:

Combined work/day =1As days+1Bs days \frac{1}{A's\ days} + \frac{1}{B's\ days}

Time together =1Combined work/day \frac{1}{\text{Combined work/day}}

Solution:

Combined work/day =120+130=3+260 \frac{1}{20} + \frac{1}{30} = \frac{3 + 2}{60}

=560=112\frac{5}{60} = \frac{1}{12}

Time to complete the work together =1112=12 days \frac{1}{\frac{1}{12}} = 12 \text{ days}

Alternate Method:

Time to complete the work together = 603+2=605=12\frac {60}{3+2}=\frac{60}{5}= 12 days​
