A.

₹1,600

B.

₹1,760

C.

₹2,000

D.

₹1,850

Correct option is A

Given:

Investment of A= 20000

Investment of B = 16000

Investment of C = 15000 (Only for 3 months)

Half yearly profit = 4350

Duration of Investment = 6 months

Solution:

Ration of Investment for the duration of 6 months of each partners:

A:B:C = 20000×6 : 16000×6 : 15000×3

A:B:C = 40: 32 : 15

B’s share=B’s ratioTotal ratio×Total profit\text{B's share} = \frac{\text{B's ratio}}{\text{Total ratio}} \times \text{Total profit}

B’s share=3240+32+15×4,350\text{B's share} = \frac{32}{40 + 32 + 15} \times 4,350

=3287×4,350 = \frac{32}{87} \times 4,350

= Rs.1600
