Exam Pattern
UPPSC PCS Prelims Exam is a screening test conducted to filter out the aspirants for the Mains Exam. Marks obtained in Prelims Exam are not added to prepare the final merit list. The UPPSC PCS Prelims Exam comprises of two papers - Paper I and Paper II (Paper- II is qualifying in nature, candidates need to score 33% marks to qualify). Both the papers are of 200 marks each with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
