• RRB NTPC Exam Pattern for 1^st Stage CBT

1. The total duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
2. Every correct answer will be awarded one mark.
3. Every wrong answer will attract a penalty of 1/3^rd mark.
4. Scores of the candidates across multiple sessions will be normalized.

 

• Selection Process

The selection process for the RRB NTPC Exam comprises of the following stages

1. Candidates will have to appear for the RRB NTPC 1st Stage CBT
2. Candidates who qualify the 1st stage exam will have to appear for the RRB NTPC 2nd Stage CBT (Main Exam)
3. Candidates will have to appear for a Skill Test based on the vacancy applied for.
   • Computer-Based Aptitude Test for Station Master and Traffic Assistant.
   • Typing Skill Test for Junior Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Junior Timekeeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, and Senior Timekeeper.
4. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the Document Verification process.
5. Finally, all the shortlisted candidates who have cleared the document verification process will have to appear for the Medical Examination process.
