The exam includes sections on General Awareness (10 marks), Reasoning Ability (10 marks), ICT Knowledge (10 marks), Teaching Aptitude/Pedagogy (10 marks), and Domain Knowledge of the concerned subject (80 marks), which carries the highest weightage. In addition, there will be a Language Competency Test covering General English, General Hindi, and a Regional Language (10 marks each), which is qualifying in nature, requiring at least 40% in each language.
