The Intelligence Bureau (IB), Ministry of Home Affairs, has released a short notification for Security Assistant (SA)/Motor Transport (MT) and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) posts, offering a total of 4987 vacancies across India. Selection will be based on Tier I (Objective), Tier II (Skill Test), and Interview (if applicable).

Educational Qualification

• For Security Assistant/MT:
  Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized board
  Possession of a valid driving license for motor cars
  Knowledge of motor mechanism and driving experience
   
• For MTS:
  Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized board
   
• Salary Details
  Security Assistant/MT: Pay Level 3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100)
  MTS: Pay Level 1 (₹18,000 – ₹56,900)
  Plus admissible allowances such as DA, HRA, TA, etc.
   
• Age Details
  Security Assistant/MT: 18 to 27 years
  MTS: 18 to 25 years
  (As on the closing date of application)

• Age Relaxation (as per central govt norms):
  OBC: +3 years
  SC/ST: +5 years
  Departmental candidates: up to 40 years
   
• Minimum Qualifying Marks (Tier I)
  UR/EWS: 35 marks
  OBC: 34 marks
  SC/ST: 33 marks
   
• Post Requirements
  10th pass minimum
  For SA/MT: Valid driving license, practical motor skills
  Willingness to serve anywhere in India (All India Service Liability)
