Overview

The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has released short notification for 3,717 vacancies for Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II/Executive, seeking graduates for a three-tier selection process (Tier I & II exams followed by an interview)

UR: 1,537
OBC: 946
EWS: 442
SC: 566

Educational Qualification
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree/Graduation from a recognized university. Basic computer knowledge is desirable
Salary Details
The position falls under Pay Level 7: basic pay ranges from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400, plus allowances (DA, HRA, transport, SSA, etc.) .
Age Details
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 27 years (as on 10 August 2025)
Category-wise vacancies are as above. Age relaxation applies as per government norms:
OBC: +3 years (max 30)
SC/ST: +5 years (max 32)
Departmental candidates (3+ years service): up to 40 years
Women (UR): up to 35 years; (SC/ST): up to 40 years
