About the IB ACIO Examination -
The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, conducts the Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Executive (ACIO-II/Exe) Examination to recruit candidates for General Central Service, Group 'C' (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) posts. ACIO officers contribute to internal security, intelligence gathering, and coordination across the country. The post carries All India Service Liability (AISL), meaning selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India.
The most recent official notification for IB ACIO-II/Executive was released by the Ministry of Home Affairs on 14 July 2025.

- Tier I: Objective Test
