(A) Procedure and Scheme for the Preliminary Examination :

Total		180 questions		400 marks

Note

Both the papers will be of objective type multiple choice questions.
The duration of each paper for the preliminary examination will be two hours. However, Persons with disability candidates will be given an additional 40 minutes.
There will be no negative marking in the written preliminary examination test
The question paper shall be bilingual and shall be printed in English (Roman script) and Punjabi (Gurumukhi script) except for questions where candidates’ proficiency in language is to be tested.
