- Passed Odia as MIL up to HSC level or its equivalent.
- The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (for the General category) and 45% marks for SC/ST/SEBC/PwD in the following programs from a recognized University:

- B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed
- Graduate with D.El.Ed degree
