The MTS category consists of posts such as Peon, Daftary, Jamadar, Junior Gestetner Operator, Chowkidar, Safaiwala, Mali, etc. in various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc., in different States/ Union Territories. As mentioned above, the notification for SSC MTS and Havaldar Recruitment 2026 will be released in June 2026, and the online application process will be active for a month (June-June 2026). The SSC MTS Eligibility includes age limit, educational qualification, and nationality. For the Havaldar post, a Physical Test will also be conducted.
Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are eligible for SSC MTS. However, those already employed in a regular Group ‘C’ or ‘D’ government position through the ESM quota cannot claim this benefit again unless they had applied for SSC MTS before joining and submitted a self-declaration. Candidates set to complete their service within one year from the application closing date can also apply, provided they submit valid proof confirming their status.
There are two stages for the multitasking staff post and 3 stages for the Havaldar post. The exam will be conducted online in a computer-based manner. Physical Tests will only be conducted for the Havaldar post only. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by candidates in the computer-based test.

Candidates must complete the registration process online, providing accurate personal, academic, and contact details. Application fees can be paid through online modes or a challan. Ensure all required documents, such as photographs and signatures, are uploaded correctly.
The fee can be paid online only using BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay).
