IBPS SO 2019 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

IBPS SO Syllabus will help candidates to prepare well for the upcoming IBPS SO 2019 Exam. IBPS SO Notification 2019 has been released by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Board. To ace the upcoming IBPS SO Exam, it is necessary to remain acquainted with the new Exam Pattern and IBPS SO Syllabus 2019. IBPS SO Preliminary Exam will be conducted on 28th and 29th December 2019. The Mains Exam will be conducted on 25th January 2020.

Before discussing detailed IBPS SO Syllabus 2019, let’s have a look at IBPS SO 2019 Exam Pattern

A lot of changes have been seen in the recent Exam Pattern of IBPS SO 2019.

  • IBPS SO 2019 will be conducted in three phases- Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam, Interview Process
  • The IBPS SO 2019 exam pattern for selecting candidates for Rajsabha Adhikari Scale I and Law Officer is same.
  • The Exam Pattern for all the other posts is different from the exam pattern of Law Officer and Rajsabha Adhikari Officer.
  • The Mains Examination will have just one section, i.e. of Professional Knowledge
  • Only three sections will be asked in the Preliminary Exam of IBPS SO 2019 Exam. For Rajsabha Adhikari and Law Officer sections asked are English Language, Reasoning and General Awareness and for other posts sections asked are of English Language, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.
  • The score of Preliminary Exam will not be taken into consideration for the final selection. Cumulative score of Mains Exam and Interview process in the ratio of 80:20 will be taken into consideration for final allotment.
  • Sectional Timings are provided for each section to be attempted in the Preliminary Exam of IBPS SO 2019 Exam

The IBPS SO 2019 Syllabus is designed separately for Rajsabha Adhikari and Other Specialist Officers. The syllabus is designed for IBPS SO Preliminary Exam and IBPS SO Mains Exam separately. It is necessary for all the candidates applying for IBPS SO 2019 Exam to once go through the syllabus as mentioned in the IBPS SO 2019 notification released by IBPS to prepare judiciously for this exam.
