SSC JE Exam Date 2025 Out
SSC JE stands for SSC Junior Engineer, and it is a Group B non-gazette post in different ministries and departments under the central government at pay level 6. The examination includes Paper 1 and Paper 2, both of which are computer-based tests. The paper 1 got postponed due to a clash with other SSC Exams, but in a recent update, the Commission has confirmed that the SSC JE Exam 2025 will be held in December 2025. And a few days before the exam, SSC will release the city intimation slip and admit acrd of all registered candidates.

SSC JE 2025 Application Form
Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements could fill out the online form by visiting the official site @ssc.gov.in within the given time frame. SSC JE 2025 apply online link was open to candidates from Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering branches.
SSC JE Application Process 2025
Interested candidates should follow these steps for an easy application process for SSC JE 2025:
Step 1: Go to the official SSC website (https://ssc.gov.in/).
Step 2: Open the registration link for SSC JE in a new window.
Step 3: Click on the "New User/Register Now" link.
Step 4: Provide basic details like name, parent's name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.
Step 5: Submit the online registration form. Make sure to verify all details before submission. You'll receive a Registration ID.
Step 6: Upload your photograph and signature according to SSC guidelines.
Photograph: Taken against a white or light-colored background, size between 4 kb and 12 kb, resolution of 100*120 pixels.
Signature: Black or blue ink on a white sheet, scanned copy in jpg format, size between 1 kb and 12 kb, resolution of 40*60 pixels.
Step 7: Log in with your registered ID and password to complete Part II of the application form.
Step 8: Preview the entire application for any errors before final submission. Once submitted, the form cannot be edited.
Step 9: Click on "Final Submit" and pay the required application fee online via Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards, BHIM, UPI, etc.
Step 10: It's recommended to download and print copies of the submitted application form for SSC JE 2025.

SSC JE 2025 Selection Process
The SSC JE selection process has three main stages: Paper 1, Paper 2, and document verification. Candidates need to understand the process well to prepare for each stage and increase their chances of success. Here's a breakdown of the selection stages for SSC JE:
SSC JE 2025 Paper 1 Paper 1 consists of 200 multiple-choice questions covering general awareness, reasoning and logical ability, and specific subjects related to the chosen discipline. Each correct answer earns 1 mark, while each wrong answer results in a deduction of 0.25 marks. The exam lasts for 2 hours. The goal of Paper 1 is to test the candidate’s basic knowledge in general awareness and their technical field.
SSC JE 2025 Paper 2 Paper 2 is focused on the specific subject of the candidate’s choice and includes 100 questions. These questions aim to test the candidate's deeper understanding of core subjects. Each correct answer is worth 3 marks, and wrong answers lead to a penalty of 1 mark. This exam also lasts for 2 hours.
SSC JE 2025 Document Verification Candidates who pass Paper 1 and Paper 2 will move to the document verification stage. At this point, they must bring all original documents and certificates for verification.
Medical Examination Candidates will also need to pass a medical examination to make sure they meet the health standards required by the respective departments.
SSC JE 2025 Salary Structure
Candidates who are successfully chosen for SSC JE 2025 will initially assume positions as Junior Engineers within the Group 'B' Non-Gazetted category. The role of an SSC Junior Engineer is widely esteemed across the nation due to its status as a Central Government Job, offering substantial remuneration and benefits. Following the implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission, the remuneration for newly recruited SSC JE 2025 candidates has been elevated to Rs 44,000 (including all allowances).
