UPSC NDA 2 Eligibility Criteria

The NDA 2 Notification 2024 provides detailed eligibility criteria, including nationality, age limit, and educational qualifications. Only Indian residents are eligible to apply for the National Defence Academy (NDA).

NDA 2 Age Limit

UPSC conducts the NDA Exam, 2 times in a year for recruiting the 12th pass candidates in National Defence Academy across the country. Candidates who in the age limit of 16.5 years to 19.5 years, only will apply for the NDA 2024 Recruitment. Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 2006 and not later than 1st January, 2009 are eligible.

NDA 2 Educational Qualification

NDA 2 2024 Educational Qualification for Army Wing of National Defence Academy is 12th Class pass or equivalent examination and for Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy, candidates must have passed 12th Class with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or equivalent.

NDA 2024 Selection Process

• The written exam consists of two papers: Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT).

NDA 2024 Salary

The NDA salary structure, allowances, and benefits for recruits during the training period can be summarized in a table. The 7th Pay Commission has led to revisions in the NDA Salary 2024, and recruits have started receiving perks from the training phase.
