The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has commenced the online application process for CHSL examination on its official website, and candidates have to first make One Time Registration, if not done, and then proceed to the online application process. Candidates have to upload their recent photograph and signature, fill out personal information, and pay the application fee to complete the form. Candidates must apply online through SSC’s new website https://ssc.gov.in or the "My SSC" mobile app (available on Google Play Store). Detailed instructions are given below.
One-Time Registration (OTR):
If you haven’t registered on the new SSC website yet, you need to complete a new OTR at www.ssc.gov.in.
Aadhaar Authentication:
Candidates are encouraged to use Aadhaar-based authentication while completing their OTR. Those who do so won’t be rejected if their uploaded photo or signature is not perfect, and they won’t need to carry an extra photo ID to the exam.
Upload of Photograph and Signature:
The live photo will be captured for photograph section and upload your scanned signature in JPEG/JPG format (10–20 KB), size 6.0 cm wide x 2.0 cm high. Blurry or incorrect images will be rejected (except for Aadhaar-authenticated applications).
Before submitting the form, preview your application to make sure all details, photos, and signatures are correct. Keep a copy of your application for your records.
Note: The last date to submit the online application is 18 July 2025 (11:00 PM).
The application correction window will be open for 23rd and 24th July 2025. After the application is over, SSC will give 2 days for candidates to correct or update their online application. You can edit and resubmit your application up to 2 times during this correction window. Only candidates who have submitted their application and paid the fee on time will be allowed to make corrections.
The amount to be paid as application fee for SSC CHSL Application process is Rs. 100/- Unreserved category. This can be paid online through Debit/Credit card, UPI, Internet banking, etc.

There is no limit to the number of attempts that a candidate can make in the SSC CHSL Exam. However, age limit is a factor that candidates have to be aware of. If anyone is out of the age limit, then they can not apply.
