NEET 2024 Eligibility
To apply, candidates must meet the NEET eligibility requirements for 2024. The eligibility criteria for NEET 2024 are as follows:
Minimum age requirement: To take the NEET UG exam, candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31 Last Year.
Nationality: Applicants must be either foreign nationals, persons of Indian origin (PIOs), non-resident Indians (NRIs), or Indian citizens living abroad.
Educational requirements: Students may apply for NEET UG 2024 if they have passed or are scheduled to take the 10+2 exam or its equivalent.
Study subjects: Candidates wishing to apply for NTA NEET 2024 must have completed coursework in biology, chemistry, physics, and English at an accredited board.
Scores to qualifying exam: To pass, candidates must receive at least 50% in the subjects of biology, chemistry, and physics. Candidates from OBC-NCL, SC, and ST categories must receive at least 40% of the possible points.

Signature Uploading Guidelines
Candidates must follow the guidelines prescribed by the NTA while uploading the NEET application form 2024. Following these procedures will help you upload signatures on the NEET 2024 application form without any error:
- The recommended file size for the scanned signature is 4–30 KB.
- Only JPG should be used as the file format.
- Use a black ballpoint pen to sign the document on white paper.
- Instead of signing the name in all capital letters, use running letters.
- The candidature will be canceled and the case will be deemed an Unfair Means Case if another person’s signature has been uploaded. Criminal proceedings under the applicable legislation will also be started.
Guidelines for Uploading Photographs in NEET Application Form
Candidates must not only adhere to the document file format and size requirements, but also to the instructions provided by NTA about the uploading of their photo. The following are the rules that must be observed while uploading the photograph for the NEET application form:
- The age of the photo shouldn’t be any older than three months.
- Either a color or black-and-white image with 80% of the face (without the mask) visible, including the ears, should be taken against a white backdrop.
- The scanned passport photo should be between 10 and 200 KB in size in order to be well readable.
- The scanned Postcard photo (4″ x 6″) should have a file size of between 10 KB and 200 KB (obviously readable).
- JPG or JPEG should be the file format.
Instructions for Uploading Thumb Impression in NEET Form 2024
The NTA has released the detailed instruction for uploading the thumb impression of both hands in the NEET application form. The following are the guidelines for uploading the thumb impression from the left hand:
- The applicant must use the provided template to record their left and right hand fingers and thumb impressions.
- There should be clear legibility in the thumb impressions.
- The file must be between 10 and 200 KB in size.
- Unclear impressions of the thumb and fingers on the left and right hands on online application forms will also be disqualified.
NEET Application Form Category Certificates Documents
Applicants must upload the necessary category certificate (caste, disability or economic) if they fall under one of the reserved categories or a specific category. Below is a list of the relevant certificates:
- GEN-EWS certificate, which in accordance with the most recent standards from the Government of India, need to have been given on or after April 1, 2022.
- OBC-NCL certificate, which in accordance with the most recent rules from the Government of India, ought to have been given on or after April 1, 2022.
- certificate based on caste (for SC) or tribe (for ST) in accordance with the most recent standards issued by the Indian government. Should a SC/ST applicant neglect to upload their certificate during the online registration process.
- PwBD certificate indicating the candidate’s percentage of disability.
- Candidates will need to download and complete the Declaration by Candidates form from the NEET 2024 information brochure in place of the category certificate if they do not have the necessary certificate issued on or after the aforementioned date.
Citizenship Documents Required for NEET UG Application Form
The following documents must be uploaded for candidates whose nationality is Foreign, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), or Non-Resident Indian (NRI):
scanned copies of the first and last pages of the passport, on which the candidate’s citizenship and nationality are stated together with the passport’s issue date, validity period, location, and issuing authority.

The Candidate’s citizenship and nationality, as well as the date, place, validity period, and issuing authority, are all explicitly stated on the Citizenship Certificate, which was issued by the competent authority in the Candidate’s country of nationality.

Any other document that has been issued by a government agency in the candidate’s home country and that clearly states the candidate’s citizenship or nationality, as well as the date, place, validity period, and issuing authority (such as an OCI card issued by the MHA or concerned Indian diplomatic mission in the case of an OCT candidate only).
NEET Application Correction

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST-Medium of Exam
The NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST [NEET (UG) – 2024] will be held in Pen & Paper mode in 13 languages. When filling out the application form, it is important to carefully select the medium of the question paper. The option, once selected, cannot be modified. Candidates get the Option of Regional languages will be available as per the following table only: –
NEET 2024 Admit Card
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test , NEET 2024 admit card in 4th week of April 2024. The NEET UG 2024 admit card will be available online at neet.nta.nic.in. When the admit card is issued, candidates can download it in PDF format by providing their user ID and password.
NTA NEET 2024 Exam Duration
The NEET UG exam will be held in a single shift on May 5, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 5:20 p.m. The test will last three (03) hours and 20 minutes. Compensatory time of one hour and five minutes for examination of three hours and twenty minutes (03:20 hrs) duration for persons with disabilities Candidates with physical limitations to write will be awarded, regardless of whether they use the Scribe function. Candidates must appear in the Exam venue approx 2 hours before the start of the Examination.

NEET 2024 Exam Centers
While filling out the Online Application Form, candidates should prioritize four Convenient Cities for the exam Centre. The choice of Center Cities will be limited to the State of Permanent Address or the State of Present Address. The NTA will make every attempt to assign a center in the candidate’s preferred city, but reserves the right to assign a center in another location.

NEET UG 2024 Counselling
NEET 2024 counselling is scheduled to begin in the fourth week of July 2024. NEET seats will be allotted to those who qualify for the exam by meeting the cutoff marks through the counseling process. The NEET 2024 Counselling will be done in two categories: 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 85% State Quota (SQ).
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct AIQ seat counselling, while state counselling agencies from the Directorates of Medical Education in various states will conduct NEET state counseling.
