NEET 2022: Preparation strategy

NEET 2022 according to many is a tough nut to crack. You have to understand that it is not difficult to crack NEET 2022 if you follow a strategy that can help you complete the entire syllabus faster leaving you for practising questions in the remaining time.

So, let’s dive into the topic straight away. We will start with our first point on how we can crack NEET 2022.

  1. Be familiar with the complete syllabus of NEET 2022: If you have recently started your preparation for NEET 2022, be thorough with the syllabus. The complete syllabus for NEET 2022 is given in the next section below. For cracking NEET 2022, three main subjects are required to be targeted. The three subjects required to appear for NEET 2022 are Physics, chemistry, and Biology. You will have to be well versed with the syllabus of these three subjects from both classes 11 and 12th.
  2. Use quality study material: You have to use study material that is of high quality to prepare for NEET 2022. You can either enrol yourself to a coaching centre or can prepare for free using the various recommended textbooks. Reading textbooks to understand a topic not only helps you to know the concept behind it but also helps you to retain the information for longer periods. You will be able to remember better when you picture the concepts while you study from a textbook.
  3. Follow a timetable: You can create a timetable that suits you best. While creating a timetable, lots of students try to follow the timetable which the toppers of previous years had done. This is not the right way of making a timetable.

A timetable should always be flexible and suited for an individual. One student might be able to study straight for 3 hours and the other might not. In such a case, you are required to explore the timings that work best for you. Usually, there are two timings in which a student can concentrate best, which is either early morning or late evenings.

  1. Be ready with your short notes: Every time you sit to study, make sure you do it in longer This will help you prepare yourself for 3 hours exam session for NEET 2022. Also, make sure that you carry an extra notebook and pen for creating notes on topics. After you complete studying a topic, summarize it in short points and write down the important points of the topic in the notes copy. This way you will save a lot of your time while you revise.
  2. Revision is the key: Revise the topics every day that you have studied in the previous day at least for an hour. This way you will be constantly in touch with the older topics and will also be able to solve numerical faster as you will be revising the formulas every day. Doing this for a year, you will be ready to solve any numerical just by having a look at the question and figuring out which formula to be applied in order to solve the question.
  3. Have a to-do attitude: You might be wondering as to what a to-do attitude is. Do not worry. We will help you to decode it. A to-do attitude makes an individual ready to complete the required task within the specified time limit. Developing this attitude, you will be able to push yourself every day so that you can solve questions and be regular to follow the timetable which you have initially made.
  4. Have a proper diet: We cannot emphasize more how important it is to have a proper diet. If you are not fit physically, you will never be able to concentrate on any other thing. In order to crack NEET 2022, you will have to ensure that you remain fit physically as well as mentally especially when it is a question of two to three years of your life. Always follow a healthy diet with a proper intake of vegetables, fruits and cereals.
  5. Exercise Regularly: Having a healthy diet won’t help much until you exercise every day. Exercising helps the brain to relax and focus better. You can do simple exercises that will help you to concentrate on your goal more precisely. The most recommended form of exercise is to do basic yoga. There are a lot of benefits associated with yoga that can’t be covered in a single article.

Refer to videos and blogs so that you can learn a few basic forms of yoga. Also, practise doing meditation for 5 minutes every day.

  1. Have breaks in between study time: It is not necessary to study at a stretch. Divide your timetable in such a way that you have a proper 10 minutes break after every 45 minutes. In those 10 minutes, you can either fill up your notes copy with the topics you have covered in the past 45 minutes or can do something that will make you feel relaxed. Avoid watching YouTube videos and playing games that can get you hooked for more than 10 minutes. Make sure that you are back at your study table after 9 minutes.
  2. Practise Previous Year Question Papers: After you complete a chapter, make sure that you cover the mock test of the topic. This way you will be aware of the topics which are important from the chapter and where you should be focusing more. You will also be able to know your weaknesses and where you have to work more. This will help you to cover the syllabus in-depth.
