SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 
SSC will hold a computer-based examination with 100 multiple-choice questions. There are 4 sections in the Tier 1 exam of SSC CGL, with 100 questions that account for a total of 200 marks. The subject-wise SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2022 details are given below:
The sections asked in SSC CGL Tier-I Exam are:

• General Intelligence & Reasoning
• General Awareness
• Quantitative Aptitude
• English Comprehension

There is a negative marking of 0.50 Marks for each wrong answer. There is no sectional cut-off. No mark will be deducted if the question is left blank or unattempted by a candidate.

• Tier-I will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for English Comprehension.
• There will be negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer.

CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern

• Tier-II will include conducting of Paper-I & Paper-II in separate shift(s)/ day(s).
• Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts.
• Paper-II will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and Statistical Investigator Grade-II in the office of Registrar General of India (M/o Home Affairs) and who are shortlisted in Tier-I for these Posts.

Selection Process:

Combined Graduate Level Examination, or SSC-CGL, is a highly competitive exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit staff to varied posts in ministries, departments and organizations of the Government of India. It is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for choosing staff for various Group B and Group C posts. It is observed that more than 20 lakh students participate in this exam every year.
 
Selection process

• The prerequisites for applying to any of the above posts is to hold on to a bachelor’s degree from any of the recognized university at the time of applying.
• The SSC-CGL exam can be divided into 2 tiers in the New Pattern.
