MPPSC Prelims Exam Pattern
MPPSC Prelims Exam is a screening test conducted to filter out the aspirants for the Mains Exam. Marks obtained in Prelims Exam are not added to prepare the final merit list. The MPPSC PCS Prelims Exam comprises of two papers - Paper I and Paper II (Paper- II is qualifying in nature, candidates need to score 40% marks to qualify). Both the papers are of 200 marks each with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Under the MPPSC Prelims exam 2023, there will be two papers, namely:
General Studies and General Aptitude Test. Both will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Both the papers consist of 200 marks each, and the time allotted is 120 minutes or 2 hours for each paper.
There will be no negative marking in MPPSC (State Service Exam) Prelims exam 2023 for wrong answers.
