पात्रता के अनुसार अभ्यर्थी के पास कृषि में स्नातक डिग्री या समकक्ष योग्यता होनी चाहिए, जैसे B.Sc. Agriculture या कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय से प्राप्त चार वर्षीय डिग्री। साथ ही अभ्यर्थियों को DOEACC से “CCC” स्तर का प्रमाणपत्र प्राप्त करना आवश्यक है।
