Selection Process

1. Written Examination – Online (CBT) with two papers (Paper I & Paper II) on the same day
2. Physical Test –
   Pole climbing & fixing cross-arm
   Rope plaiting with conductor
   Lifting & carrying cross-arms

Eligibility

• Educational Qualification
  Must have ITI Trade Certificate (NTC/NAC) in:
  Electrician
  Wireman
  Electrical Trade (under Centre of Excellence Scheme)
• Must possess adequate knowledge of Tamil (school level or Tamil language test).

Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025)

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 32 years
• Relaxations:
  OBC/MBC/DC – +2 years
  SC / SC(A) / ST – +5 years
  Destitute Widow – up to 37 years
  PwBD – +10 years
  Ex-Servicemen – up to 50 years
