The State Selection Board (SSB) of Odisha has announced recruitment for 1061 Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) positions in various subjects for non-government-aided high schools in Odisha. For the subject of Education, there are 50 vacancies. Interested candidates should note that the application period starts on March 18, 2024, and the last date to apply is April 18, 2024. Applications must be submitted online through the SSB Odisha official website.

Applicants are required to have a Master's Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized university or an integrated six-year postgraduate course from a Regional College of Education recognized by NCERT, with at least 50% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade. While a B.Ed. is generally required, it's not mandatory for certain subjects including Education. The selection process will involve a written test and career assessment.

The application fee is Rs. 500 for Unreserved/SEBC category candidates and Rs. 200 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. The pay scale for the positions is Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 as per the Pay Matrix of Level 10.
