The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will now conduct a combined Preliminary Test (PT) for various services of similar nature from the 69th combined examination onward. It has been decided to conduct a common PT of various competitive exams, including civil services- Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Anchal Padadhikari, Range Officer (Forest Department), Excise Inspector, Block Minority welfare officer, Deputy Superintendent, CDPO, etc. Candidates will mention their options for different services, but they would be required to take only one PT test. The 69th combined prelims test will be held on 30th September 2023. However, the merit list will be prepared separately for each service and their results also be published separately.

बीपीएससी, आगे से कई मिलती-जुलती परीक्षा के लिए संयुक्त पीटी परीक्षा ली जाएगी। इसलिए अभ्यर्थियों को अब बार-बार बीपीएससी की पीटी परीक्षा नहीं देनी पड़ेगी इसके लिए 30 सितंबर 2023 को 69वीं कॉमन पीटी परीक्षा होगी बीपीएससी में अब एडमिनिस्ट्रेटिव सर्विस, स्टेट टैक्स असिस्टेंट कमिश्नर, बिहार एजुकेशन सर्विस, रेवेन्यू ऑफिसर की परीक्षा के साथ ही चाइल्ड डेवलपमेंट प्रोजेक्ट ऑफिसर (CDPO), असिसटेंट प्रॉजीक्यूशन ऑफिसर (APO) जैसे पदों की परीक्षा आयोजित कराई जाएगी. इन सभी पदों के लिए पहले अलग-अलग प्री परीक्षा आयोजित होती थी. अब अभ्यर्थियों को CDPO और APO जैसे पदों के लिए एक ही परीक्षा देनी होगी. इन सब के अलावा आयोग ने 69वीं BPSC परीक्षा से कुछ और बदलाव करने की बात कही है. इस पदों के लिए मेंस परीक्षा अलग-अलग होगी. आयोग ने ये भी कहा कि सरकार से बातचीत करने के बाद मेंस परीक्षा को भी कॉमन किया जा सकता है.
