Exam Overview:

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) have released the Recruitment Notification 01/2025 for various Teaching & Non-Teaching posts across India. The recruitment is conducted by CBSE and offers postings in KVs and JNVs nationwide. Both institutions are autonomous bodies under the Ministry of Education and follow CBSE curriculum.

• Recruitment is for PGT, TGT, PRT, Principals, Vice Principals, Librarians & Non-Teaching posts.
• Selection includes:
  ✓ Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  ✓ Skill Tests (where applicable)

Educational Qualification 

PGT (All Subjects)

• Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with 50% marks
• B.Ed / Integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed / 4-year Integrated PG + B.Ed with 50% marks
• Ability to teach in Hindi & English

TGT (Hindi, English, Maths, Science, SST, Sanskrit, Regional Languages)

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject with 50% marksOR 4-year Integrated Degree including B.Ed
• CTET Paper-II mandatory

PRT

• 10+2 with 50% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed / 4-year B.El.Ed / D.Ed Special Education
• CTET Paper-I mandatory
• Must teach in both Hindi & English

PRT (Music)

• 10+2 with 50% marks + Bachelor's Degree in Music (Music must be main subject)

Special Educator (PRT/TGT)

• Graduation / XII with relevant RCI-approved Special Education qualifications
• CTET required (Paper-I for PRT SE, Paper-II for TGT SE)
• RCI Registration mandatory

Age Limits

• PGT: Up to 40 years
• TGT: Up to 35 years
• PRT: Up to 30 years
• Principal: 35–50 years
• Vice Principal: 35–45 years
• Non-Teaching Posts: 27–45 years (varies by post)
• Minimum Age for All: 18 years
