UKPSC Lower PCS Recruitment 2021: Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has released an advertisement for the recruitment under Combined State Civil / Lower Subordinate Service (Lower PCS) in various departments of the state government. As of now, the total number of vacancies stands at 190, which the commission can increase or decrease in the future. The interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts on or before 29th August, 2021. Eligibility Criteria
Age: All the Candidates who are above 21 years and below 42 years of age are eligible to fill the application form.
Qualification: Any graduate from any recognised university.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected through a 3-phase process—Pre, Main Exam and Interview—conducted by UKPSC.
The first phase of the process will be preliminary examination, which will be an objective type examination. It will then be followed by mains examination, which will be a written or descriptive type examination.

IMPORTANT: It is mandatory for the candidates to get a minimum of 35 marks in the section ‘Essay and Drafting’, to qualify for the personality test.
After this phase of examination, UKPSC will conduct personality test that will be of 50 marks.
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by a candidate in mains and personality test. So, the final list will be prepared against 450 marks.
