UKPSC FRO Recruitment Notification 2021: Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has released an advertisement for the recruitment of the Forest Range Officer (FRO) in the state government. As of now, the total number of vacancies stands at 40, which the commission can increase or decrease in the future. The interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts on or before 31st August 2021. Note:
- The number of vacancies can increase or decrease.
- As per the REQUISITION provided by the government, physically disabled candidates are not eligible for the above posts.
Pay-scale and Pension: Rs. 47600&151100 (level-8) grade salary-4800, Partial Pension Scheme.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Age: All the Candidates who are above 21 years and below 42 years of age are eligible to fill the application form.
Qualification: It is mandatory for a candidate to be graduate from any recognized university in one of the following subjects along with ‘science graduate/engineering graduate degree’ or a similar degree from any other recognized institute-
- Agriculture 2. Botany Science 3. Chemical Science 4. Computer Application/Computer Science 5. Engineering (Agriculture/Chemical/Civil/Computer/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical) 6. Environment Science 7. Forestry 8. Earth Science 9. forest Department 10. Mathematics 11. Physics 12. Statistics 13. Veterinary medical science 14. Zoology.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
Candidates will be selected through a 3-phase process—Pre, Main Exam and Interview—conducted by UKPSC.
The first phase of the process will be preliminary examination, which will be an objective type examination. It will then be followed by mains examination, which will be a written or descriptive type examination.
PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION
UKPSC will conduct a screening test in the form of a preliminary examination if there is a large number of applications for the advertised posts.
This paper will contain multiple choices questions (testing general studies and general mental ability). Its aim is to select desirable candidates for the mains examination and its marks will not be counted in the preparation of the merit list for final selection.
