UGC NET Phase 2 Exam Postponed: Check New Exam Date in September

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released a notification on 8th August 2022 declaring that the UGC NET Second Phase Exam Postponed. The UGC NET Second Phase Exam was scheduled for 12, 13 and 14 August 2022. However, the UGC NET Second Phase Exam Postponed due to unavoidable reasons which were not disclosed by NTA. The UGC NET New Exam Date has been rescheduled between 20th to 30th September 2022.

As per the NTA Official Notification, the City of the Examination will be released and displayed on 11th September 2022 on their official website. The NTA will release the UGC NET Admit Card on 16th September 2022.

The UGC NET Phase 2 Exam 2022 will be conducted for 64 Subjects. The candidates can check out the list of the subjects to be conducted in September 2022 in the notification released by the NTA to declare the UGC NET Second Phase Exam Postponed. The detailed UGC NET Exam Schedule 2022 will be released along with the UGC NET Admit Card 2022.

The UGC NET Phase 1 Exam 2022 was held from 9th to 12th July 2022 for 30 subjects in 310 Examination centres located in 225 cities across India. The UGC NET Phase 1 Exam was conducted online in different shifts. The UGC NET Phase 2 Exam will also be conducted online in various shifts and the detailed exam schedule contain all the relevant information.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has merged the UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 cycles to ensure the candidates appearing for the UGC NET Exam do not suffer year loss. UGC NET Exam is conducted twice a year however, after the pandemic, UGC has decided to marge the cycles to avoid any hindrance on account of the aspiring candidates.
