Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test 2020: Last Day Reminder- Apply Now

Sikkim TET 2021: Sikkim Education Department, Sikkim had reopened the application form for Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test for teaching aspirants.Candidates and New Applicants can fill the online form from 04.03.2020 to 11.03.2020.Those who applied in 2019 need not apply again. Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test  will be held on 11th April 2020.(Saturday).

  • Starting Date to Apply Online: 19th August 2019
  • Last Date to Apply Online: 31-08-2018 (Extended to 15-09-2019)
  • Date of Exam: 14-12-2019 (Exam Postponed)

Eligibility Criteria

 
Paper Educational Qualification
Primary Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) · Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST,OBC(Central),OBC(State) and passed or appearing* in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education ( D. El. Ed).
OR
· Senior Secondary ( or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST, OBC(Central), OBC(State) and passed in final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed).
OR
· Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 45 % in case of SC, ST, OBC(Central), OBC(State) and passed or appearing* in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Graduate Teacher for classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage) B.A./B.Sc./ with 50% marks , for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST,OBC(Central),OBC (State)and passed or appearing* in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed.).
OR
· B.A./B.Sc./ with 50 % marks , for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST, OBC(Central),OBC(State) and passed or appearing* in the final year 2 year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.).
OR
· Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks, for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST,OBC(Central),OBC (State) and passed or appearing* in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
