Sikkim Education Department, Sikkim has released notification regarding Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test -2019 for teaching aspirants.

Important Schedule:

  • Starting Date to Apply Online: 14th August 2019
  • Last Date to Apply Online: 15th September 2019
  • Submission of Printed Forms along with Document: 15th September 2019
  • Date to Download Admission Card: will be updated soon
  • Date of Examination: will be updated soon
Examination Fee: Rs.400/-

Print-out of the Online Application forms along with relevant documents should be submitted at Room No.308 of HRDD Secretariat.
Eligibility Criteria:

Paper Educational Qualification
Primary Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) · Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST,OBC(Central),OBC(State) and passed or appearing* in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education ( D. El. Ed).
OR
· Senior Secondary ( or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST, OBC(Central), OBC(State) and passed in final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed).
OR
· Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 45 % in case of SC, ST, OBC(Central), OBC(State) and passed or appearing* in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Graduate Teacher for classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage) B.A./B.Sc./ with 50% marks , for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST,OBC(Central),OBC (State)and passed or appearing* in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed.).
OR
· B.A./B.Sc./ with 50 % marks , for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST, OBC(Central),OBC(State) and passed or appearing* in the final year 2 year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.).
OR
· Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks, for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST,OBC(Central),OBC (State) and passed or appearing* in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
· Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks ,for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST,OBC(Central),OBC (State)and passed or appearing* in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
