Sol. The total distance covered= 2d= 2×50= 100km
The total time taken for this journey=2 hours
∴Average speed= Total distance / total time
⇒100/2= 50km/h

Sol.velocity is a function of time. Since, the velocity of an accelerating object changes with time.

Sol. The car accelerates at 1.5m/s^2 for 4 seconds. That gives us a final velocity v of u+(4×1.5) which is u+6 m/s. So our increase in velocity is 6m/s. The straight road part tells us that the direction remains constant. Hence the velocity vector changes only in magnitude.
