SSA Recruitment 2020: Exam date

Due to the pandemic effect of Coronavirus, the exam dates are further extended and tentatively the exam will be conducted in the month of September 2020. The exact date will be announced soon by the authority after confirming the safety in the exam conducting areas and nearby. 

Eligibility Criteria for SSA Recruitment 2020:

The candidates are supposed to complete their graduation and B.Ed degree in the respective subject they want to apply for the Master Cadre posts. In case, the authority finds anything strange in the application form, it could be dismissed so the candidate must have complete knowledge about the SSA Recruitment 2020 procedure, eligibility criteria, and other important things about SSA Punjab Recruitment. 

In addition to educational qualification, the candidate has to fulfill other criteria to appear in the exam: 

• The candidate must be an Indian Citizen only.
• The age of the candidate must not be less than 18 years and not more than 37 years. 
• The graduation with a B.Ed degree must be passed from a recognized central university or state Institution.
• General or OBC candidates with at least 45% in graduation are eligible to appear in the exam and the requirement is 40% for reserved category candidates.    
• The age relaxation for the OBC category is 40 years, SC and ST are 42 years.
• Candidates should have passed Punjabi as an elective subject for three years of Graduation
• Passed in PSTET Paper 2 .

Selection procedure for Punjab SSA Recruitment 2020:

The selection of the candidates for Master Cadre’s teacher post is direct SSA Recruitment 2020 which is followed by a written test conducted by the exam authority. The aspiring candidates have to appear in the written exam and need to qualify the exam for the merit list announced by the board.  

Exam Pattern for Punjab SSA Recruitment 2020:

The candidates are suggested to prepare as per the updated exam pattern published on the official website. The SSA recruitment board will carry the exam so you need to follow their exam pattern only. The duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes and the written test will be of Multiple Choice questions. There will be a total of 150 MCQs each scoring 1 Mark for the correct answer. There will be no negative marking for any incorrect answer.

Admit Card:

Only after the confirmation of everything is right in the application form, the authority will release the admit card for the candidate. In case, there is something missing in the application form, it will be dismissed by the authority. The candidate can download the admit card from the official website after the announcement is made. It is mandatory to carry the admit card along with a valid ID proof to carry to the exam hall. The approximate date of releasing the admit card is 7-10 days before the exam date.
